Charterhouse is working with an International Construction Company who are looking to hire an HR Manager to manage their Human Resources function in Dubai. This is a great opportunity to be part of an expansion project. Our client is seeking candidates from Construction, Engineering or Transport industries.
About the role
The HR Manager will be responsible for managing the full HR Function within the Middle East, and will be the main point of contact for all employees within the UAE. The HR Manager will be handling operations, developing business strategy, implementing new processes and developing company policies and procedures, ensuring all policies are up to date and compliant with the UAE labour law.
The HR Manager will oversee a Team of HR professionals, as well as oversee payroll, therefore, must have excellent leadership skills. This role will be responsible for employee engagement, employee relations, recruitment, learning and development, succession planning. In addition, this role will manage the execution of performance management programmes to assess the team’s performance, staff appraisals and lead performance reviews. The HR Manager will manage compensation and benefit programs, such as salary structure, bonus and employee benefits, and conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation.
About you
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must have at least 5-6 years of HR Experience with a minimum of 2 years within a management role. It is essential to hold a Qualification within a related field, with excellent knowledge of the UAE employment law.
For this position, the ideal candidate will have background in Construction, Engineering or Transport and be open to a 6-Day working week. The successful candidate will be a strong decision maker with experience working closely with Senior Board Directors to develop business strategy and contribute to the organisation’s growth.
