​Charterhouse is working with an organisation within the Retail Industry, who is looking to hire a HR Manager to manage and develop their Human Resources Function. A great opportunity for a HR professional to assist with the organisation’s growth.

About the Role
The HR Manager will be responsible for managing the full HR Function and will be the main point of contact for all employees within the UAE, handling operations, as well as developing business strategy, implementing new processes and developing company policies and procedures, ensuring all policies are up to date and compliant with the UAE labour law.

With the business rapidly growing, the HR Manager will oversee the TA Team to ensure the best fit candidates are identified and selected to meet the business requirements. The HR Manager will be responsible for employee engagement and improve retention by recommending best-practice workplace initiatives, employee relations, addressing any issues and recommending improvements. In addition, this role will manage the execution of performance management programmes to assess the team’s performance, staff appraisals and lead performance reviews. The HR manager will also manage compensation and benefit programs, such as salary structure, bonus and employee benefits, conducting market research to ensure competitive compensation.

This is a standalone HR position; therefore, this role will also be responsible for HR Administration. Maintaining all employee records, HR documentation, recording staff leave, and preparing reports are integral duties of this role.

About You
To be considered for this role, the candidate must have at least 5-6 years HR experience with a minimum of 2 years within a management role. This position will manage the TA executive; therefore, leadership skills are required. It is essential that the successful candidate hold a qualification within a related field with excellent knowledge of the UAE employment law.

The ideal candidate will be a strong decision maker with experience working closely with senior board directors to develop business strategy and contribute to the organisation’s growth.

The suitable candidate will have Arabic Speaking Skills, with excellent English communication skills (written and verbal), and ideally have retail experience.
