Job description
Charterhouse is working in partnership with a Family Office based in Abu Dhabi. Our client is looking to hire an experience QA Engineer with hands-on experience testing Web, iOS and Android environments.
About the role
The QA Engineer will be working very closely with the Lead Engineer focussing on multiple projects. The current project has a focus on AI and using the some of the newest technology available.
This role will play a major part in ensuring the quality and stability of all the products across Web, iOS and Android platforms. Day to day responsibilities include the following: Manual & Automated Testing, Test Planning & Execution, Performance & Stability Testing, Defect Tracking & Resolution, Cross-functional Collaboration, Code Reviews, Process Improvement, Automated Test Development, Etc.
The QA Engineer will be part of a cross functional team with designers, developers and product managers.
About you
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will have a proven track record working as a QA Engineer within a corporate and fast paced environment.
The ideal candidate should be familiar with a cloud testing environment and have hands-on experience with product testing (Web, iOS and Android systems.) They are looking for someone that has good knowledge with the following automated testing frameworks, Selenium, Appium, etc and proficient with stability testing. The candidate will need to understand JavaScript or Python for test automation and have good knowledge on best CI/CD tools and practices.
Excellent communication skills in English are essential for this position, Mandarin speaking would be a bonus!
