Charterhouse is working exclusively with a Global Law Firm to oversee the daily operations and support HR Functions of their Dubai Office.
About the role
The Office Manager’s role will be extremely varied, responsible for overseeing the daily operations, administrative duties and smooth running of the office. This role will coordinate and collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure operations are running smoothly, managing any paperwork and documentation, whilst ensuring to complete assigned projects within a timely manner.
The Office Manager will engage closely within Senior Management to develop and implement processes and any admin systems. Additionally, this role will be responsible for facilities management, negotiating with suppliers whilst maintaining excellent relationships, keeping on top of contract and trade license renewal and maintenance of office supplies by checking stock and placing orders.
This role will also support the HR Function, reporting to Head of HR in the UK. The Office Manager will assist in recruitment, conducting interviews and onboarding new employees, as well as managing employee records. They will be first point of contact for employees in the Dubai Office and ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to and comply with DIFC Labor Law.
About you
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years senior administrative experience ideally within Legal or Professional Services.
In addition to exceptional customer service skills, the ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, must be highly organised, and a self-starter with proven experience at managing tight deadlines. Our client is seeking a forward thinker, strong decision maker, a strong team player but is able to use their own initiative.
It is essential that the candidate possess UAE working experience. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual, eager to grow within an organisation whilst demonstrating excellent teamworking skills.
