Commercial Pricing Analyst – Prestigious Law Firm (US Based Role)

​Charterhouse is working with a prestigious global law firm which is looking to hire an experienced Analyst to join the commercial pricing team. This role will support the firm with developing and tracking company-wide pricing strategies which are competitive and profitable in order to contribute towards the firm’s growth.

About the role
The ideal candidate for this role will have exceptional analysis skills in order to extract key insights from large data sets, with the ability to present findings to a range of stakeholders in a clear and professional manner. A high level of Excel proficiency is required such as a demonstrated ability to apply advanced formulas and pivot tables, additionally experience using Power BI tools would be desirable. There will be regular interaction required with attorneys, BD teams and global colleagues to support the research and development of effective pricing arrangements.

A key focus will be to assess the financial impact of pricing proposals and developing alternative arrangements which meet the needs of the firm and its clients. Additionally, the Pricing Analyst will be involved throughout the matter lifecycle to support with delivering reports to attorneys to track progress, review budgets/profitability and ensure effective project management.

About you
To be considered for this role the ideal candidate should have a Bachelors in a relevant field with 2-4 years professional experience, handling analysis of commercial pricing preferably in a Law Firm. Our client is looking to hire an individual who demonstrates excellent organizational skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment delivering to tight deadlines, with excellent communication skills. Strong use of Excel is a must for this role along with the ability to analyse complex financial data, investigate discrepancies and provide effective solutions for any variances.
