Charterhouse is working exclusively with an international digital technology business who is looking to hire a HR Operations Manager. While this role will be based in Dubai, the remit will have some coverage across Africa. As HR Operations Manager will provide generalist support to the management team and staff whilst providing functional support across payroll, employee relations, training, employee development and recruitment. The role reports directly to the European HR Director and the HR Operations Manager and you will be instrumental in the roll out of policies and procedures as well as suggestions of new policies that are more relevant to the Middle East and Africa. Knowledge of tax regulations across Africa would be advantageous as would knowledge of visa regulations in UAE free zones such as DMCC, DAFZA, etc. The successful candidate should be Degree educated and have a minimum of 5 years experience working within a similar role either in a MNC or an international organisation. You should be someone that is able to work to tight deadlines, work within a strong team culture, have strong leadership skills and the knack for handling large levels of responsibility. You should also have excellent communication as well as interpersonal skills. Due to the large level of correspondence with the United Kingdom, our client has requested a preference for native English Speaker for the role.

Charterhouse is working with an organisation which has continued to see year on year growth and due to this they are now looking to hire a driven and self-motivated HR Generalist. As the HR Generalist, you will be solely responsible for the entire HR function of this division. Making this role your own you will act as the sole HR contact and take on the responsibility of A-Z recruitment, induction of new starters, implementing talent processes and building relationships through effective relations management. You will also be involved in running internal grievance and disciplinary processes, screening, interviewing and assessing candidates, managing recruitment agencies and driving recruitment strategies forward. You will have dual reporting lines working alongside operations and Group HR in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures for this division aligning with the Head Office. The successful candidate should have a strong HR operational background and a strategic approach. Experience in the F and B or retail sector is preferred as well as excellent communication skills and a high attention to detail. You should hold a bachelors Degree along with a high proficiency in English and ideally knowledge of the Qatar Labour Laws. Due to its extensive growth plans, our DIFC based client who is an international Financial Services Organisation is looking to hire an HR Operations Assistant to join its established team. This role is to provide HR operational support to the HR Manager and the employees. Responsibilities for this role will include but will not be limited to, liaising with DIFC authorities for visas, assisting with payroll, handling on-boarding of new staff, liaising with insurance providers, issuing staff contracts, handling leave and salary letters as well as day to day HR administrative duties. To be considered for this role you will ideally be Degree educated with an emphasis in HR or equivalent experience with a minimum of 2 to 4 years experience in a similar role preferably within the Middle East. Experience within the DIFC and within Financial Services would be a distinct advantage. You should also have strong written and verbal communication skills and a solid understanding of UAE Labour Law.
