Charterhouse is working with a local group in Oman who is looking to hire an Investment Manager at a group level. This role will undertake a review and analysis of existing portfolios of investments whilst overseeing the due diligence of new potential investments. With a reporting line to the Investment Committee, you will be required to complete detailed and accurate analysis to complement the strategic objectives. This headcount shall take responsibility to source investment opportunities, across varied asset classes and in turn completing the required feasibility reviews to support the investment decisions. In conjunction, the role shall extend to overseeing the operational aspects linking to the budgets, planning and contractual reviews ensuring both internal governance whilst also managing the external interfaces with potential investors or joint venture partners. You shall also be expected to complete a strong market research undertaking to complete due diligence and findings whilst also providing robust internal documentation and material for management review. The successful candidate should be a seasoned professional from a background of either investment or portfolio management along with a demonstrable understanding of both micro and macroeconomics and an understanding of the GCC market dynamic. You should also have a background with a CFA or MBA with an ability to manage senior business relationships and an ability to present in a strong commercial manner.

Back Office Product Controller

Our client is looking to hire a Product Controller to work across the Back Office and Operations; covering trade settlements, support processing and position monitoring. Sitting within the Back Office and Operations function, this role will provide an overview to the Director of Middle and Back Office in supporting trade entries and confirmations to manage counterparties and brokers across trade executions and transactional back-up. This role will focus towards areas of sales and trade administration along with invoice processing; to ensure that all invoicing procedures are accurate and reconciled to allow for timely payments aligned with contractual and pricing policies. Heavily geared towards working across the Trading Risk Management (TRM) system, Right Angle, this position will exist to ensure the maintenance and accuracy in supporting this front to back office system.
